- Identify attacks and vulnerabilities to mitigate them before they infiltrate IS
- Understand threat actor types and attributes.
- Understand vulnerability scanning concepts.
- Understand secure virtualization, secure application deployment, and automation concepts
- Understand the importance of policies, plans and procedures related to organizational security
- Understand the basic concepts of cryptography.
